MTSC
Masters welcomes swimmers of all abilities. As adults, we learn
best from each other and we appreciate the wealth of life experiences
that team members bring to our swimming community. In order to foster
this strong sense of community, MTSC offers a wide variety of social
activities where we can meet and get to know each other outside
of the pool environment.
One
unique feature of our team is that our pool is family owned and
operated. This gives us the ability to control the environment in
which we train and compete. Throughout the year we offer various
inter-squad challenges that build both fitness and friendships among
team members. As a means of team building, we encourage members
to participate at local competitions, and MTSC Masters are well
known for our team spirit. Most importantly, we strive to help our
team members maintain a balanced and active lifestyle that includes
family, fitness, and work.
Our
trademark is the fun that we intentionally create through various
parties that are offered throughout the year. Derby de Mayo, Wine,
Dine and Design, and our ever popular Wine Tastings are legendary
in the Middle Tennessee swimming community. These antics have also
gained national attention and our team was featured in SWIM MAGAZINE
for the way we incorporate fun and purposeful play into our team
training cycle.
